ReplyDeleteSo i have been feasting on all the local delights of Slovenia and have come across one that REALLY takes my fancy - thought you might like to have a read about them. They are local Dumplings come Gnocchi called Zlikrofi
Very simple but such lovely belly warming winter food.

Ah - also - can you get Wild Garlic (Ramps) in Oz - cant remember them myself. Been hitting that pretty hard too this spring and have stocked up my freezer with home made pesto with the walnuts from my trees.

ReplyDeleteI love your blog, when I'm low and feeling uninspired, I spend a while here, reading, smiling and becoming lighter hearted, inspired and learning so much. The reult of my time her today was mni pumpkin pies with rum soaked raisins, venison stew with cacao nibs, wild mushrooms and port, and squash and carrot mash with fresh thyme butter.
